The NCCR Climate organise annual meetings for young climate researchers. These Young Researchers Meetings are open to Ph.D. and post-doctoral students from the NCCR Climate, from the Oeschger Centre (University of Bern) and from the Center for Climate Systems Modeling (ETH Zurich). The meetings take two days and are usually held at the Centre Lœwenberg near Murten in June.
The Young Researchers Meetings aim at providing the participants with additional skills and background knowledge they usually don't learn in their research projects. Every meeting has workshops and/or keynotes on a specific topic, such as Science and Communication or Career planning. Besides the organised programme, participants have ample time for informal discussions and exchange of idesas.
The 11th Young Researchers Meeting is scheduled for 7 – 8 June 2012.
