Whether it be receding glaciers, heat waves or a flood of the century, the public interest in climate research is large. NCCR Climate researchers are often interviewed by journalists and asked to give talks before a variety of audiences. In addition, politicians rely on the expertise of climate scientists. Furthermore, we are very active in public relations such as organising lectures, providing seminars for media representatives and offering continuing education for secondary school teachers and agricultural consultants.
