The NCCR Climate has been concluded

Interdisciplinary collaboration in the NCCR Climate has produced some innovative research approaches. The cross-linking of different research groups opened the eyes of the scientists to some complex interconnections.

The program of the National Centre of Competence in Research Climate was concluded at the end of March 2013. This website is no longer being updated (as of 31.3.13) and is kept only as an archive. The main findings of the program are available in this brief summary. Some of the projects of the NCCR Climate will continue at the Oeschger Centre of the University of Bern and at the C2SM of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich. Both centres were established at the initiative of the NCCR Climate. The opportunities successfully offered to young researchers by the NCCR Climate such as the Young Researchers Meeting will also continue. The NCCR Climate Summer School has been renamed Swiss Climate Summer School.
